Organizing our little bedroom closet is one of my favorite projects in our house. Although it is long, I think it is a small bedroom because it is very difficult to reach the clothes behind it. For a while I struggled with the best way to organize my master bedroom closet. My husband and I tried some storage bins and added a shelf to the bottom for our shoes. But it cannot stay regular for long. And we weren’t very good at covering our shoes, so our clothes always looked bad. So we finally decided to get serious about organizing our little bedroom closet.

After researching ideas for organizing small bedroom closets, I came to the conclusion that the best way to organize our closet is to have lots of storage boxes to make it easier to store. I knew that our habit of quickly throwing things away in the closet may not change, so if we want to properly organize our closets, we need a special box to throw our things.

My husband and I decided to use this huge budget to get items from Walmart. More installation and design ideas in large size of gray home and garden design. We used 12 bins for our closet and they fit our space perfectly!

I love their space for labels so you know what’s in each box when you pull it off the shelf or down! Unfortunately, you can’t order online, so I had to go to a few Walmarts in our area to get enough for our closet. But it was worth it how much they helped us organize our small closet.

To organize the small bedroom closet and put our shoes or clothes in the closet, we categorized and labeled each bin. We have bins for shoes, sandals, tennis shoes, heels and dress shoes. We also use bins for bulky clothing such as sweatpants and sweatshirts. A storage bin for the bathtub, then a bin for suitcases and luggage.

Since my wife and I share our master bedroom closet, using the trash cans makes it easy. Our shoe storage bin holds my and my husband’s shoes as well as tennis shoes.

We also have a shoe bin that we don’t use much. Whenever Payless went out of business, I worked in the corporate world and loved wearing pants. So when the store closed I bought 3 pairs. Since I work from home, I don’t often wear flats, so we keep our “shoes” in the trash.

If there isn’t a lot of hanging space in the closet, it can be difficult to fit clothes in a small bedroom closet. We have plenty of hanging space in our closet, but we can’t get to half of it unless we push it to the back of the closet. It’s really tiring trying to fit into that small space, so I try to keep all the clothes we use regularly at the front of the closet.

There are a few ways to increase your chances. Some people use storage hangers to save space, but I’ve found that they can be bulky. Instead, I tried hanging velvet.

I’m not going to lie, I have a love-hate relationship with velvet hangers. It’s great for saving space in the closet because it’s so small. They are half the size of a regular plastic hanger. And it’s perfect for women’s clothes that tend to fall off the hanger. All my shirts and dresses look great on these hangers. But, hanging clothes is a real hassle. It takes twice as long to hang a shirt or dress because clothes don’t slide as easily on velvet hangers. However, I still think it’s worth using velvet hangers to get more closet space and keep clothes from falling off the hanger.

So far, I have only used it on my clothes, but as I buy more, I will start using it on my clothes. Twice. It is more expensive than a regular hanger. Amazon has a lot here, or you can find them for $10-$12 for a box of 30 at TJ Maxx, Home Goods, and Marshalls. All my stuff was from TJ Maxx.

To organize the hangers, I arrange them by color. I only do this with my clothes because my husband doesn’t really care where his clothes go. And she works in a hospital, so she wears the same clothes every day. But for me, it’s easier to find what I’m looking for when my clothes are color coded.

Before I implemented the hanging clothes organization system, it was very easy to lose some of my clothes in the closet. You know, when you’re looking for a thin thread and you have to go through every hanger three times to get it stuck in a sweater. Okay, maybe it’s just me, but it’s happened to me so much that I need to find a better way to organize clothes.

The color scheme was very helpful because now I know exactly where that navy t-shirt or a Sunday casual dress goes for church.

I love how this project turned out and I think it will make organizing our little bedroom so much easier! Plus, the whole project cost less than $100! Using shelves and storage bins eliminates the possibility of throwing things in a shelf in our closet. Now to get rid of our clothes and shoes, we have to take a step forward and keep our closet organized for a long time. Stacks of jackets and pants can look messy and untidy on a closet shelf. To avoid this, use partition shelves. Divided shelves separate the closet and separate the types and styles of clothing.

When it comes to closet storage, it’s important to consider all available storage space. Open bags are a good choice for things that require regular use, while closed boxes can be used to store items that are not used often or are more messy.

All cabinets should have no more than 40 hangers and no more than 10 boxes and boxes. If your fabric is smaller, it should be reflected in your fabric. To create a minimal wardrobe for the bedroom, hang only the things you wear in that season and put only the things you usually wear or wear in boxes and bins. You can store unworn formal or sports clothes in another part of the house if you have space.

To have a fresh and clean wardrobe (no matter how many clothes can be put in it), use shelves, cabinets and white walls. They create a sense of harmony, small to match the color white, they bring calmness to a space that often seems a bit chaotic.

For the beautiful effect of the bedroom, use black colors: black shelves, hangers and storage. A monochromatic outfit like this one will feel bold, chic and classy. To really make black pop, show off your light colored clothing in the middle.

How To Design A Closet

If you want to protect your clothes from dust and dirt so that you can see them, use glass doors and boxes. Glass doors offer great protection and visual appeal (if you take good care of them).

If you don’t have a closet in your bedroom or use it for something else, add a clothes rack to your space. Long gone are the days of thin aluminum supports. So you can find simple clothes that match the clothes they lounge in.
