It is important to drink enough water every day, but it is possible to overdo it. If your urine is completely clear and does not have a yellow tint, you are probably drinking more than the recommended amount of water.

Things That Can Cause Bright Yellow Or Green Pee
Vomiting, diarrhea and fever cause the body to lose water quickly and are a common cause of dehydration. Fortunately, most healthy adults can rehydrate by drinking plenty of water and fluids that contain electrolytes.
Remember that although bottled water and tap water contain small amounts of electrolytes, you may need something with a higher concentration, such as Gatorade or homemade tonic, to adequately balance your body’s electrolytes.
For children who are dehydrated from vomiting and diarrhea, the Mayo Clinic recommends treatment with an oral rehydration solution such as Pedialyte.

Things like your age, whether you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, how hot the weather is, and your level of exercise all affect how much water is right for you.
If you wait to drink until you are thirsty, you may miss out. Having a refillable water bottle with you at all times is a great way to ensure you stay hydrated. You can remind yourself to kiss between tasks or at other times, such as a commercial break or a new episode. If you’re in a very hot or dry environment, or you’re breastfeeding or doing a lot of physical activity, be sure to reduce it further.
