Provides information to parents and caregivers about infectious disease outbreaks in their community. Knowing important information about outbreaks and learning to prepare can help reduce stress and ease potential anxiety. This resource will help parents and caregivers think about how an outbreak can affect their family physically and emotionally, and what they can do to help their family cope.

California Coalition for Youth (CCY): A statewide non-profit organization serving unattached and homeless youth ages 12-24 across the state (and beyond) for the past 42 years. Staff and volunteer crisis counselors offer a 24/7 crisis intervention counseling hotline and chat, as well as referrals to youth agencies in the caller’s community and direct connection to resources via three-way call and confidential message.
