Looking for the best apartment decoration ideas on a budget? Here are several ideas that are guaranteed to make your space amazing.

Apartment decorating ideas on a budget are my bread and butter. I’m really proud when I can find ways to make a space look luxurious for pennies.

Apartment Bedroom Decorating Ideas On A Budget

Over the years of decorating spaces from my bedroom to my parents’ house to my bedroom to my apartment, I’ve collected tips, tricks and secrets that make decorating my space on a budget easy and exciting.

Small Bedroom Ideas You’ll Love

I hope this gives you a chance to breathe and realize that yes, your space can look amazing as long as you don’t break the bank. It’s possible, I promise!

One of the most important steps (and my favorite) is creating a vision board – this is very important, as with anything else in life, you don’t want to go blind and face disaster.

I like to start with a vision board to see clearly what colors I’m vibrating with, what styles speak to me, etc. If you’re ever stuck and don’t know which way to go, make a vision board. Even if you don’t think the inspiration photos you’re using match, eventually they will (99% of the time).

Everyone has their own style when creating a vision board. I personally like to make mine on Pinterest. This is the easiest way I have found and they have all the inspiration I need and more.

Cheap And Easy Bedroom Decorating Ideas

After making my vision board on Pinterest, I copied and pasted the photo into a Google Doc, printed it, cut it out, pasted it on a whiteboard, and voila, the vision board was done. Plus, making a vision board is super therapeutic and motivational (can you tell I love it?).

As I said earlier, there are many ways to create a vision board. For you, clipping pictures from magazines, using Instagram, or putting them on Tumblr might be the best way (they have really good pictures).

If you don’t want to go through the hassle of cropping images, you can still make a Pinterest vision board, just don’t print it! You can still get a good shot of the style you want.

Oh, this is a very important point. Indeed, if you have less space, use brighter colors!! I promise, when you get your mansion, you can ditch your moody dark colors, but bright colors will make your entire space feel 10 times bigger than it is.

Small Bedroom Ideas To Maximise Style

In addition, the color is not expensive!! Here’s something you can do this weekend that will change your situation. Dark colors absorb all the light in rooms, especially if they are small. Now, this doesn’t mean that you can only use white, if you like blue, there is a very beautiful light blue that looks stunning. Stick to what you like, try to be as light as possible on walls and large pieces (furniture, paintings, etc.).

Apartments are very small and you don’t want to inadvertently create a claustrophobic room – this is great advice when you’re on a budget, basically don’t buy more than you need. Less is more. I repeat, less is more.

Too much detail can do more harm than good. Simple and minimal is perfect for an apartment and I promise it won’t look simple when it’s all put together! You’re trying to complete a puzzle, and if any piece is too complicated, you’ll be overwhelmed.

Curtains!! Seriously, they work. When I want a little spice and get a little fancy, I like to add curtains to my space. If you really want to feel put together, add curtains. The cost of your space will be 10 times higher.

Primary Bedroom Decorating Ideas For A Tranquil Retreat

Pro tip: Hang your curtains as high as possible. It creates the illusion that your apartment is bigger than it is. Here is a video on how I hung my curtains – click here.

Thank goodness frugality is culturally acceptable (haha just kidding, something that’s “trendy” and never stopped me). Thrift is amazing because you can find unique pieces that will make your space completely unique. Also, the prices are, for the most part, amazing.

Guess you’ll have to put on your creative hat if you go, most of the pieces are amazing, but you might need a quick DIY. But I promise, at the end of the day you’ll be so thankful the breaker went off!

If you don’t need it, don’t buy it. If not, and, or but. If you need to meet the needs and overtime on a budget, you will save the right items for your space.

Stylish Primary Bedroom Decorating Ideas

In today’s world, we are constantly bombarded with new content and things to buy. We can get so overwhelmed that the only way out is to fill up the space. However, it makes you feel more claustrophobic and nervous. Like I said before, less is more!

I agree with the last idea, but try to leave room for growth. You don’t have to drop a lot of money at once. Your style changes as you evolve, so leave room in your space to grow together!

If you want your space to look bigger, add mirrors. Seriously, they work. You won’t believe the difference
